Smell:
Sweet, cookies or baked goods, and pine. I was searching for notes of berries, strawberries, and cream but never really found it… instead I kind of got what reminded me of a creamy green tea. In the jar the terps were on the subtle side. The second jar that I bought on 8/28 from Ruckus smelled more like cookies and pine than the mint that I smelled in another jar.
Upon breakdown a stronger gas and pine smell emerges. I was consciously looking for the a more assertive smell of berries, and it is kind of there underneath the pine and mint.

Look/Breakdown:
Upon breakdown stronger sweet mint and pine smells, which was nice since the smell from the jar wasn’t too strong.
Bright green to dark green buds that are covered in trichomes and bright orange hairs. As the leaves get closer to the stem they turned from green to a tan color, but didn’t lose the coating of trichomes
The buds are dense, and when ground up has great moisture, isn’t so sticky that it makes rolling hard. After putting this into a paper it was great for rolling into a joint.Don’t get me wrong, it left residue on my fingers, but not so much that it prevented me from successfully rolling a j.

Flavor:
Cream flavored greens with a bit of mint and pine. Second pull from had an initial creamy fruit/berry flavor that disappeared, and I couldn’t find it again.I think purposefully looking for the strawberries or berries in the Popscotti was a mistake on my end, and I should’ve let it be what it was.
I rolled a joint and inhaled before lighting it, and I got a lot of sweet pine flavors, which was tasty, and baked goods (shall I say slightly biscuit and biscotti like?).

How it smokes:
Super light and smooth smoke… The smoothness lasts through the creamy aftertaste. When I bough an 8th from Ruckus, I rolled a joint and puffed it in the living room without opening the front door, and the smoke was light enough that it didn’t fog up the room.

Effects:
The high hits in a low key way that lowered my eyelids a little bit, made my face, mainly the cheeks, tingle a little bit, and gave me a relaxed body feel, slightly floating at times. It felt like I was floating over the chair that I was sitting in.
Despite feeling relaxed and chill, I was able to talk to a friend and hold a serious conversation through bowl number one. Once I got into bowls 2+ the effects stacked, relaxation increased, and it became a little harder to follow along with what he was saying because I was distracted by other things and processing what he was saying a little slower.
Yeah, don’t smoke more than 2 bowls when a friend wants to talk about his divorce. My ability to offer solid advice was slightly compromised. smh.

Thoughts:
I wasn’t able to review this cultivar last month because I smoked through most of a quarter in 3 days, and I had about 2 nugs left to photograph and review. I really kicked myself in the ass, had to settle for waiting until the next drop to give myself another chance at reviewing it.
I waited for the next drop to hit Seattle in August, but I hadn’t seen any texts or updates from the usual places about a drop; little did I know it was over on the Eastside, and later found out that spots like Ruckus on Capitol Hill carried it too. Seem likes Green & Gold/Exotic Genetix is looking to put their product in more stores across the region, which is great in my opinion, more people need to know about and buy Green & Gold.
Thanks to OneGramGuy and AstronautLabs I was able to secure Red Pop and Popscotti from Green Theory, on the Eastside; giving me another chance to properly review this.
The terps aren’t as strong as OMFG, and the strawberry terps are muted by the Biscotti, which is okay because the flavor and effects more than make up for that lack of front-end smell. Popscotti hits my body harder than the OMFG, and the effects are ideal for hanging out without talking or interacting with folks as much. The body high isn’t overwhelming, and the head high is strong and internal conversation higher. This is less of a social smoke than the OMFG, which is tailor made for a smoke sesh. Popscotti is an ideal smoke for an introvert like me, especially when i’m focused on self care and time by myself.
Other effects were some pain relief, stress relief, slight euphoria, and an increased interest in music with a nice groove.

Pairs Well With:
Music, movies, hanging out by myself, a group setting without too much talking, lounging at the beach or in the summer sun, a neat drink after work.
