According to Leafly the GMO is an Indica Cross between two indicas, and Do-Si-Do is more of an indica heavy hybrid. So, this definitely leans to more to the indica side of the scale.
Setting: Smoking at the house watching the Packers play the Lions on Monday Night Football. Tracking fantasy football stats and seeing if one of my teams would maintain their leads.
Greens
Opening the jar it smelled like fresh cut hay and earth. I thought I wasn’t smelling much because I’m getting over a cold and am a little congested, but that was all I got… until I put a couple nugs in my grinder and then it hit me with a sweet gas smell.
Smoke
1st hit:
Smooth pulls without coughing. Light smoke with a nice herby green taste.
2nd hit:
more earthy flavor. Kenny Golladay caught a 60 yard pass, and I completely lost track after that.. crap.
5-10 minutes:
Heady high that I felt behind my eyes. Light body high. Got distracted by random thoughts about fantasy football, but that’s fine, Aaron Jones isn’t doing very well.
20-30 minutes:
Head high is still there, but I feel great! Aaron Jones fumbled the ball, but I don’t mind it because I’m already winning in one league (opponent doesn’t have anyone playing). I’m upbeat enough to think about cooking dinner, but stoned enough to say “Nope”.
1 Hour Later (Spongebob Voice):
Feeling relaxed, calm, and stoned. Even when TJ Hockenson dropped a touchdown pass, it didn’t bother me; I should’ve started Hunter Henry. To be honest, I got motivated to do research on players for my fantasy basketball team (keeper league) and completely forgot to track how I was feeling as time progressed. The high crept up on me… like really snuck up on me. I’m alright with that. I’m feeling really calm and relaxed… eyelids are feeling heavier than usual.
Final Thoughts
The label design paying homage to The Godfather was the first thing that caught my attention; done deal, take my money. The greens shined after grinding or breaking it up, the sweet gassy smell reminded me of sweet tarts. It’s an after work, unwind with a beer while watching tv or gaming type of smoke for me. Although I was a tad spacy on it and got lost on tangents and high thoughts, but I didn’t mind it at all. The body high is ideal for chillin streaming an NBA or NFL game while tracking points for my fantasy teams, and getting lost finding players in the free agent pool. But there’s enough energy and motivation to do laundry, clean, go grocery shopping, and cook. I’m enjoying the idea of rolling GMO-Si-Do and Garlicane in a joint or blunt and finishing season 3 of My Hero Academia. Thanks to the guys at Dockside SODO for the recommendation.
