Full Review of Tranquil Forest’s Motorbreath #15

Full Review of Tranquil Forest’s Motorbreath #15

I posted a review last month on Instagram with a few photos, but needed to get around to this review because it deserves it. This cultivar is starting the second half of 2020 off with a strong kick, and Tranquil Forest has been on a streak of releasing newer cultivars that aren’t in their core lineup (Mac Miller, Gelato #33 and #41, and even Runtz). I put Motorbreath #15 closer to the top of the 2020 releases from Tranquil Forest; This year I’ve smoked Str8 Lemonade, Pre nup Cake, Mac Miller, Gelato #33, Gelato #41, Alaina, Lava Cake, MAC, and Candies Grape. If you remove the regular releases (Gelatos, Mac Miller, and Runtz), I would argue that Motorbreath #15 is at the top of this group.

There are more new releases coming soon like Frozen Gelato and Trendsetter (Mac Miller x Runtz), so Motorbreath #15 could rank lower by the end of the year, and i’m okay with that. Which just means more fire is on the way from Tranquil Forest.

Smell:
Rick Flair voice- Woooooo!
Sharp chem and kush, a pungent diesel/gas smell, pine, and at times rubber or rubber cement. First jar I opened had a nice light pine smell, and then a sharp gas smell that hit me really hard. Fantastic punch. It made me cough a couple times from smelling it, and I kept opening the jar, just to smell it. Geez.

Look/Breakdown:
Bright gas, chem, and kush smell when ground up. Christmas tree shaped nugs that look like they’re frosted over and are covered in dark orange hairs (I think stigma is the right terminology for these). The buds weren’t sticky, but had the right amount of moisture, great rolling texture. It isn’t as dense as other Tranquil Forest cultivars (Gelato #33, Gelato #41, or Gelly Burger), and is easier to break down using fingers, but you’ll still have sticky fingers.

Flavor:
Pungent gas, chem, and pine on the exhale. Maybe some kush, but the other flavors were more assertive from inhale to exhale.

How it smokes:
It will create a lot of thick smoke that will test your lungs if you’re a little overzealous with the pulls. The smoke isn’t heavy, but the high will hit your face after each pull. Might burn your nostrils if you exhale through your nose.

Effects:
The head high hits fast, within the first 2 hits and minute or two of the first hit. I felt it in my eyes, eyelids lowered, and they got drier; pack Visine, just in case for this one. The high also transferred to my body, I won’t move from my spot while smoking this during a sesh, lost about 5 minutes to my phone, and realized I was supposed to do (or complete) something but the Motorbreath got me.
I also found that I had the ability to focus, and finding motivation to get ready and go for a jog, or taking care of tasks was easy.

Thoughts:
Motorbreath #15 one of my top smokes of the second half of 2020; July-December. Yeah, I know we’re only 2 months into this half, but this one right here will probably be Top 10 for me this year. The smell upon opening the jar hit me really hard, and that is a plus. Zero brakes with this one, from the smell to the smoke to the effects.
A great dual head and body high that is strong but allowed me to kind of choose my own adventure. If I wanted to get up and go for a jog I could do that, and if I wanted to just sit there and watch Twitch I could do that too. I was very introspective after smoking this and have spaced off thinking about problems that need a solution, life stressors, and other things. This effect made it easier to go for a run, since I was so focused on the music.
If you are working remotely from home, give Motorbreath #15 a try, because of the calming and relaxing effects combining with focus. It made online data entry easier. Think of it as something to smoke when you have a long monotonous task that has to be done.
Since writing the first draft of this review, i have tried the Motorbreath#15 from K Savage, and it just wasn’t at the same level as Tranquil Forest’s. The K Savage offering has a lighter smell, fluffier bud structure, and the effects aren’t as strong or hit as fast.

Pairs Well With:
– A walk or jog
– Reading
– A day of laundry and chores
– Working remotely from home
– A movie or show
– Listening to music
