Smell:
Kush and earth. The notes on this one were muted but there, it took breaking the bud down in a grinder to let the smell show.

Look/Breakdown:
Great grow on the Do Si Dos. Grindhouse grows their cannabis really well and are consistent across multiple cultivars. The leaves were light to dark green, with a lot of purple mixed in, dark orange hairs, and thick frost coating. Dense nugs that ground into a nice green and purplemix.
The difference with this one compared to the others in this drop (Gelatti, Gelato Mints, and GMO Cookies) is the dryness, it was much drier than the others. 
I noticed more gas, pine, and kush upon breaking it down.

Flavor:
The flavor of the smoke was sweet but also mildly harsh. I tasted kush too, but those notes were dominated by the smoke. I’m working on improving my abilty to smell and taste the weed, and also identify what it is, bear with me while I slowly improve. Lol.

How it smokes:
Tough. It’ll make you cough, but isn’t too bad, just mind how hard you inhale.

Effects:
If the dryness and slight harshness of the smoke were drawbacks, the effects are a plus in my opinion. Like the jar describes it, this is a 50/50 Hybrid, although I would say that more than 2 bowls and it’ll start to lean more Indica dominant hybrid. I liked the decrease in anxiety, pain relief, and happy feeling. Be sure to watch the dosage! Too much of this will make you consider going to lay down.

Thoughts:
When compared to the other cultivars in this drop, Do Si Dos comes in 4^th out of 4, but it really is something that I will look to purchase for its help with anxiety and pain relief. It came in handy when my anxiety started ticking really badly helping care for two English Bull Terriers who’ve been abused; takes some cojones to open the kennel of a dog who’s going ape shit because I’m in its space, and hoping it doesn’t attack me. There were some tense moments, and I appreciated the Do Si Dos for helping me through that.
Comparing it to the Gelatti, Gelato Mints, and GMO Cookies, the muted smell, slight harshness of the smoke, and dryness kept it from jumping past the GMO Cookies. All of that aside, this is something I will 100% purchase and smoke on Sundays while watching Seahawks games. The anxiety relief will help me when the pocket collapses and Russell is forced to scramble. Anyone looking for cannabis that helps with anxiety, pain relief, and depression might enjoy Do Si Dos.
