Listening to a favorite playlist

and not doing what you were supposed to do 30 minutes ago.

Smell:

I’m working on developing the ability to identify terps as relatable smells but it’s not easy, and will take time and practice. I was able to identify Sweet fruit/grape jumping out first, then I noticed chocolate and a slight earthy smell. The bright sweet fruit smell is prominent throughout, and at times morphed into smelling like ripe grapes. I enjoyed opening the jar and inhaling.

Look/Breakdown:

Light to dark green leaves that are coated in trichomes and pistils. Another excellent grow and cure from the team at Tranquil Forest who are consistently producing cannabis worth the price point.

Flavor:

Greens tasted like fruit, chocolate, and mint on the exhale. At times I noticed a little bit of pine on the inhale, but the mint at the end was nice.

How it smokes:

Moderately thick smoke that will make you cough. I coughed on the first inhale, and a couple times during the second bowl. Be careful with how much smoke you pull, and have a drink nearby.

Effects:

Bowl 1: Mild sedation, my eyelids lowered a little, and I was inclined to stay on the couch. Mentally things felt a little slower, I wasn’t feeling like talking much, but I was less anxious about a couple life stressors. That was nice.

Bowl 2: Increased sedation, eyelids lower a little more, and I lost about 30 minutes thinking about watering the lawn and plants.

Thoughts:

The label says Hybrid, and I got a bit of a head and body high, but the mild sedation and body high made it feel more like an Indica leaning hybrid. This is the kind of cannabis you smoke when you don’t have things to do RIGHT NOW.

I smoked two bowls of lava cake before watering the yard, and it took 30 minutes and extra effort to get up and going. I also watered the sidewalk for a minute. Run your errands first before smoking this.

Even though it sent me in the direction of taking a nap, I felt really good and stress went away. It isn’t too heavy, and the effects don’t last more than a couple hours; plenty of time to fall asleep if you want.

Try this if you like Hybrids that lean to the Indica side, want something to help you get to sleep, or don’t mind sitting in one spot for a little while. Typing out these last few paragraphs is now requiring more effort and focus, hah.

It’s a solid new release from Tranquil Forest. I feel like this one has room to be dialed in, and look forward to smoking it again the next time it drops.
